No. There's nothing to sign up for and nothing to remember — open the app and start adding songs.

Yes. Add it to your home screen once while you've got a connection, and it runs fully offline after that — no wifi, no cell signal, no problem.

Yes. Your lyrics and setlists never leave your device — no cloud, no account, nothing to log into.

Right now your library lives on that one device — there's no cloud sync or backup export yet (both are on the roadmap, see below). Worth knowing before you rely on it for an irreplaceable setlist.

Both. It's a web app, not a store download — install it from Safari on iPhone or Chrome on Android, the same way either side.

Not yet — it's on the roadmap. The web install works like a native app in the meantime: its own icon, full-screen, offline-capable.

Backlog is your song library — every song you own, with lyrics, chords, key, BPM, and tags. The Stage is where you group songs from that library into a setlist for a specific gig, in the order you'll actually play them.

Yes. Paste lyrics straight in, or import a plain-text (.txt) file — from Files on iPhone/Android (including iCloud Drive, Dropbox, or anything else you've got set up there), or a regular file picker on the web version.

Yes. Tag songs however you organize your own catalog — "Originals," "Covers," "Band A," a song can carry more than one — and filter the Backlog by any combination of tags. Long-press a tag to rename or delete it.

Yes. A share icon on the setlist screen hands the whole set — every song's title, artist, key, BPM, and full lyrics/chords — to your phone's normal share sheet as a plain text file. Mail, Messages, AirDrop, whatever's on hand. Works even if the person you're sending it to doesn't have VesperVox themselves — it's a one-way export, not live sync.

The actual stage display — big, high-contrast text on a near-black background, built to be read at a glance mid-performance. It's what you open once you're actually playing, not while you're building your library.

Scrolling shows the whole lyric sheet, auto-scrolling at whatever speed you set or paged manually. Prompting is teleprompter-style: one line front and center, the line before and after dimmed above and below, so you always know what's coming without hunting around. Switch between them mid-song.

Yes — a flat/sharp control right on the Gig screen transposes live, right when the singer calls an audible. Every chord on screen updates with it.

Yes — turn on Follow and the fret diagram tracks whichever chord is current as the song scrolls or advances, no tapping needed. It covers plain major, minor, and 7 chords in standard tuning; anything fancier shows "no diagram for this one yet" rather than guessing at a fingering.

Yes. Set a capo fret on a song, and the Gig screen can show either Concert Chords (what's actually sounding) or Play Shapes (what your hands are doing with the capo on), with both labeled clearly in the header so you never lose track of which is which.

A two-finger tap jumps to the next chorus, a two-finger double-tap jumps to the previous one — no hunting for a button while you're playing. You can also just tap or drag to wherever you need to be; auto-scroll keeps going from there instead of stopping.

Yes — Set Lock, right on the Gig screen, locks out the swipe/next/previous controls for the rest of the set. Useful when you're moving around and don't want a brushed screen to jump songs on you.

No — the screen stays awake automatically for the whole time you're on the Gig screen. No settings to dig through beforehand.

Yes. Set a slow ballad to a big font and a slow scroll once, and it opens that way every time — a fast song you've tuned differently isn't affected. Auto-advance also starts from that song's BPM, not one flat speed for everything.

Safari on iPhone, Chrome on Android — install either way with Share (or the menu) → Add to Home Screen. That's the whole setup.

It's in progress — iCloud and Google Drive sync, so a change on your phone shows up on your tablet too — but it isn't available to install yet. Not something to plan around for tonight's gig.

Not yet, beyond sharing an individual setlist as a text file (see above). A dedicated backup/export for your whole library is on the roadmap alongside sync.
